The TP-Link Archer D9 AC1900 dual band is one of the best available wireless networking devices from TP-Link. This Archer series from TP-Link has some major benefits as compared to the routers from the other brands. The dual band of 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency delivers a blazing fast speed of up to 2 GBPS over the network.
The Beamforming technology here refers to the direct and projected wireless signal from the router to the desired location where the Wi-Fi signal strength is much lower or it is a dead zone. The Archer series from TP-Link is known for best Wi-Fi coverage and the detachable antennas in it support that feature.
Dual USB ports
The Dual USB ports support the extension of removable devices like the HDD or the Printers that can be added to the network for wireless usage. Some external consoles can also be added through these USB ports.
TP-Link firmware update
The TP-Link firmware update can be done by following the below-described process in some of the easy methods.
Now, open the web browser on your PC and enter the web address www.tplinkwifi.net. If you face any issue while logging through this web address, try to enter into the router setup portal through the default IP address i.e. 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1
Authenticate the login with a username and password. If you are using your router for the first time, enter the login credentials as “admin” and “password”.
Go for the system settings>router firmware.
Then click the firmware update tab and the system will prompt you to select the update file package that you have downloaded earlier.
Select and open the update file and the update process will commence itself. During the update process, your router will reboot itself, so don’t panic and wait for the restart to finish properly and the router will be covered with new software (firmware) within no time.
